This was a NFL Networks production and no credits shown except the NFLN's
logo. It is a completely seperate production from the game and NBC simply
forwards the finished product. NFLN hires the producer (in the past it was
Don Kirshman) and contracts with the network covering for cameras,
transmission and such. But the production truck, director, and related
support staff (including all audio) is 100% seperate from the game network
production.
There are too many people to roll credits. They have 12 minutes of air
time of the 20 minutes alloted to the halftime. The rest goes to the game
network for their half time activities.
I don't know who was involved in mixing. But it was all over the place
sonically. In defense, a live mix for broadcast under these conditions is
an extremely difficult thing to pull off becuase there is no real world
rehersal possible.
I worked SB41 on the field for the League. If you can witness the set-up
and dismantlement of the set, it's a sight beholden to military precision.
And that takes a LOT of people to horse the set peices on and off the
field. No machines are allowed. All of the people on the field were
workers involved in the above activities. They are not spectators.
Their locations and actions were carefully choreographed so that they
would be ideally positioned for the dismantlement of the set in less than
two minutes. There are a nnumber of people located inside set during the
show so they can quickly connect and disconnect the set pieces and
cabling.
Think of this as similar to a racing car pit stop. Absolute precision by
everyone and it's rehearsed off site many times.
