If what they're doing was evidenced by that horriffic audio on the Superbowl,
then let them keep the rotten thing a secret! I can't imagine anyone actually
wanting to copy something so awful, anyway! Let 'em KEEP IT!
Normally, I tolerate "less-than-stellar" sound from the Idiot Box, as that is
what I am used to getting, and thus, what I expect from the thing. Sad, but
true.
When the TV audio is exceptional, be it in a positive or a negative way, I
take notice. This was SO AWFUL, I couldn't kill it quickly enough! My wife even
commented on how BAD it sounded. Once it was set to MONO, it sounded great.
Good thing they at least had the "mono-compatibility" working! ;)
I couldn't tell you anything about the halftime show, though, as that is full
tune-out time for me. I was in another room for the duration.
