[BC] Wind and STL Mutes

Is there any AM on the receive site, especially using a folded unipole?

I have seen this where one wire of a folded unipole near the receive
antenna was outside the standoff clamp, even though the clamp was on an
insulated rod, it would still cause trouble when the wire brushed it.

You can draw your own conclusions on what else could be causing trouble,
like a bad tower weld ect.

This problem first reared its ugly head last March and after much discussing with Mosely a 10 watt PA was installed and the problem disappeared until last night The RX is installed at a fairly hostile tower site, beepers, 2 cellular companies, etc. installed on three different towers.
