And while you do need to be on-line to access it...

Ever hear of WiFi? <grin>  Not universal yet, but.....

Or, useful for pre-planning / plotting / post.  Plot the radials, 
verify (and print out) using the overhead imagery.

It also pulls up "Street View", Google's ground-based imagery 
database (the Google vans roam the countryside snapping pictures...)

Seems like a natural adjunct to me....
