Well, if someone wants to order a printed catalog, they will find that the
fade-in time is less. <g>

Specifically, go to Workstations and look at the Dual-15 and AURA.260
versions. The AURA.260-LR costs more than a Dual-15-847. At R&R, we use
(for whatever reason) Mackie 8-Bus mixers in both production rooms. They
sit on top of Arrakis U-shaped furniture with all their wires exposed to the
world. I don't find that very aesthetic. Argosy has furniture designed
specifically for the 8-Bus (as well as many other mixers) and it looks
pretty classy. Check out the 9032-RR and look at the short video clip on
how the monitor arm works. (You need to scroll down slightly to see
thumbnails of the various versions of the 8-Bus and click on it.) Now THAT
is cool! There must be a reason why they have sold this stuff to recording
studios in Sydney, Singapore, Boston and Beijing. And lots of other
places. And let's face it -- a recording studio is basically just a
production room. Actually, so is an on-air studio, it's just that the
production goes out live without being recorded.
