[BC] TV Translator Equipment

Here in town, we've got two translators... 1 thats off the air and one
thats limping along. The town doesn't have the money to spend on them,
and I know a few people (including me) who do watch them.

The stations that the translators rebroadcast are going digital and as
I understand it, the town won't be fixing the translator that's off
and won't be spending money to equip the other one to pick up digital
signals.

I was wondering if anyone had a tv translator transmitter (10 to 50
watts) on Channel 2 or that could be moved to Channel 2 and two
digital tv converters? I know it's a long shot to ask for this stuff,
but I figure if I can help "fix" the translators, the town will keep
them going since it costs them barely anything to run.

I think the translators both need better receive antennas too, but
I'll worry about that later.

Sincerely,
