How can you be sure? I think we're being unfair to Monster in 
believing that the oxygen content argument has more to do with profit 
than physics. How do you know that the ones aren't bumping into 
oxygen atoms and splattering them all over the place, thus preventing 
them from reaching the other end properly?

The only way to be sure is to buy the $189 cables and the cheaper 
ones and devise an A/B switch. Invite a collection of ordinary people 
and do a blind test. Oops, scratch that, make sure they aren't blind. 
Choose those with superb sight so they can see the result of oxygen 
bombardment.

Try and suppress your suspicion that this is all profit-driven and 
not pure science.
