The run-of-the-mill RPCs are single-capacitor self-starters.
The multiple capacitor RPCs are the ones which require a starting
circuit, either a centrifugal switch and a start cap, or a potential
relay and a start cap.
ARCO, DESCO and most of the "usual suspects" are in the first class.
HAS, and home-builts are usually in the second class.
