I'm not technically still supporting them Scott :) I am just helping you out with the one I sold you (and any others that I sell to you or someone). I am glad you like it though :)
They are not being made new any longer although LPB sold all of the 100 we built. They went to commercial, personal, educational and noncommercial stations from small colleges to WINS. Bible Broadcasting did buy quite a few of them as you mentioned. It was a great board with a remarkable feature set for real radio stations and a price for low budget ones. Everyone seemed to like them and I sold them very quickly, but lets just say there were management issues that made them go away before the next batch was built. I left LPB shortly after that ('02) and don't have anything to do with them (wherever they may currently be housed). I have 2 of the Blue 5c boards still here along with a ton of the interface cables. I took them out of service because we moved ProTools into the studios they were in and use the associated ProTools hardware as the mixers, making the Blue consoles redundant. I had 4 of them. One went to Tampa, one to you and the other two are sitting next to me waiting to have their fates determined :)
FYI, Dave Strode (also ex-LPB) has ownership of the old LPB/Dynamax/Fidelipac console line and still manufactures, services and supports them. He's at www.sandiesusa.com if you want to find out about those consoles. To the best of my knowledge, LPB isn't making much of anything any longer. A sad fate for a great company that will/would/might be 50 next year.
