I don't think it has ever been recapped and it is very old.  I don't think
it has lived a very nice life through any type of power filtering/UPS
either.

That was my concern with just recapping.  Maybe there is something more than
even just the caps to suspect.  I'll check into recapping it first and see
what happens.
