Your demo sounds very good here.

For any small-market station without a public stream, an Instreamer
makes a nice in-house "listen line".  I recently installed one at WCJW
so I can listen from here in PA; other staff members also use it when
they travel out of the station's coverage area.  It's fed from the L/R
analog outputs of the FM processor with the sample rate set at 32 k
and output at ~89 k to conserve bandwidth on our rural DSL.  At that
rate, some artifacts are apparent (especially on agency spots that
were sent via MP3) but the audio quality is sufficient for
monitoring/troubleshooting purposes and beats what I hear on most HD2
channels.   We've had no reliability issues; the small size is also a
plus.

I'm planning to try an Instreamer to feed our Sunday morning church
service remote; it should make a great improvement over the present
POTS line.
