One thing I did a while ago was use some network cable, a project box, a
small breadboard, and those little blue screw-down PC connectors, from Radio
Schack..  made my own breakout box. Couple of feet of very soft Beldin
network cable back to the pair of DB's back at the receiver.

    since my 'racks' are actually recycled 19" closed cabinets... from an
old Schaefer system... what I got was a blue box for each SGIII hanging by
velcro strips on one side.  Be sure to lable the sides of the project box,
so you know what's what.
