[BC] Fairness doctrine by another name? aka censorship?

I'm going to through a different spin on this and want to see what people think. I work at a Christian Non-comm. My station owner would not want to be forced to broadcast a show that does not meet our beliefs and would rather not broadcast at all. Lets face it we don't just have left and rights here. We are conservative in nature but also religious.

Does this "Fairness" doctrine mean that if I broadcast a show against say a hot button item like abortion, Do I need to have a show that supports abortion right after it? Even if this iteration of the doctrine doesn't include things like this, what about the next one? Do we really want to open this door? The leftist own TV will this even apply to TV? How deep does this hole go and do we really want to start digging?
