It's said that the Rushes of the world cater to the "angry white working
man"-high school educated and working manual labor. In simpler terms, the "Joe
the Plumbers". If you remember Joe's angry question to Obama, it was right out
of the Rush playbook.
Joe the Plumber sits right in the middle of Rush's target demographic.
Speaking of Joe, the last time I heard about him, he was a war correspondant
working in the Middle East for Pajama's Media, an ultra right wing web site.
What happened? Did they find out that Joe was illerate?

I'd be interested to see demographics for people who listen to right-wing talk
and listen to left-wing talk. If my personal experience most of the people who
listen to those shows are middle income blue collar workers who construction
or manual labor jobs and have radios playing in the background. Another big
group would be truck drivers and other people who spend most of their jobs in
vehicles traveling to job sites.
