In my experience, most cops are sadists-they 'get off' on using/abusing their
'power'. 
This includes cops I personally know.

I have known many police officers over the years, having done 2 way work for
several police departments.

A friend of mine's entire exteded family were cops, father, brothers, uncle,
cousins, etc.

He became a fireman-becasue he wanted to e eone of the 'good guys'

I second that commotion. I was stopped in Ipswitch Massachusetts and ordered
out of my truck. I started to argue and the nice policeman said; "I'll beat
the _uck outa you and haul you ass in if you give me any trouble." I got out
of my truck and waited in his searchlight in the cold for 20 minutes while he
conducted a "wants and warrants" search nationwide.
