Yes, it's a conspiracy-theorist term for contrails. I have seen them
claiming that contrails *only* happen over 20,000 feet and the white trails
between 12,000 and 20,000 feet have got to be planes spraying biological
agents of some sort. George Noury's program is a good source of information
about this and other man-made, environment-destroying, disasters.

Never mind the wide variations in contrail formation altitude and
persistence based on atmospheric conditions--well known even before the days
of turbojet engines.

I read someplace after 9/11 when the vast majority of air traffic "stood
down" for a few days that the chemtrail people claimed they began to feel
better.

Just Google for chemtrail conspiracy and/or contrail science and have
yourself a good time.

*sigh*

I happen to be one of those weird people who loves the sight of contrails
and who is fascinated by how they sometimes persist for hundreds of miles
behind planes and other times they just disappear after a brief appearance.
I'm also fascinated by interesting cloud formations, too--that may be a
little less weird since I've long been interested in aviation and weather is
such a critical factor in flying.
