   One of my HAM clubs tested the 40 meter (7 MHz.) version of the Isotron
antenna several years ago.  (far field) by AReU in Brandon Florida
   The Isotron measured ten dB below the reference antenna which was a
30' long 3" diameter aluminum tube over eight 30' long radials.
This is about the same as the best of several mobile antennas mounted on
cars/trucks over the same radial system.
Used by apartment dwellers this would be superior to a "HAM stick" dipole
stuck out on/from the balcony.
   No antenna tested came close to the reference antenna, the test was for
vertical antennas only.
