I know I've brought this up before in this discussion, but all theories 
be dammed, V-103 (WVEE) in Atlanta was using a 14 bay RCA w raydomes 
with the antenna side mounted on a 500' tower. They upgraded going to a 
panel antenna at the top of a 1000' tower. Prior to the "Upgrade" they 
were solid anywhere within a 150 mile radius of Atlanta, after the 
upgrade dropped to about 90. They also lost many loyal listeners in 
Tallahassee Fla, as the cable system there that reliably picked them up 
OTA some 360 miles away in Tally lost the signal.
