It seems there is an interest in Power-Side again, in
your situation, with a DA antenna system, with an
interest in improving suppressed areas, it would be
desirable to run a 10 Khz tone into the transmitter
while doing Midnight maintenance, while in directional
mode, at say 25 percent modulation, take your field
meter to the desired areas of improvement, and measure
the carrier center max value while modulating 25 percent
10Khz only, then very carefully, tune field meter to either
side of the carrier, noting the values of the small peaks
+ and - 10khz offsets, pick the sideband with the highest
field, that is the place that you will want to send the max
Power-Side boost, it will also send a reduced energy to
the opposite sideband,  a good deal of setup -equalization
and other things the maker, Mr. Kahn can help with.

Of course, all of today's radios tune digital, mostly centered
to the carrier, so results may vary - a mile or two may be
about it.
