Brain dead today I guess. 'Twas indeed the ubiquitous EV RE-20 I was
referring to.
Shouldn't be brain-dead on Friday...but there it is out there for everybody
to see.
BTW I think you may be right about the 58s sent to Shure for refurb. Every
time I've done it I've gotten them back with the zipper bags and everything
and I've never sent anything but the crapped out, abused original. We've got
a bunch of these we use at church and when they get flakey I send 'em out
and they are great about getting replacements to us.
