There was 780 KACL in Frasier and 585 WNYX in Newsradio.  There is no
WNYX in current use, but there is a KACL(FM) in Bismarck, North Dakota.

And The Simpsons' mythical town of "Springfield" must be right on the
Mississippi, because over the years the cartoon has featured many
fictitious stations using both K- and W- calls.
