I think they ran at something like 2 frames per second, so that a 
90-minute reel could handle a 24 hours broadcast day. I don't think they 
could record audio--tape speed was just too low. IIRC, there was a clock 
display supered over the video. They were primarily useful for log 
verification...when they worked...
