I'll fully echo the use of dishpointer. I had a situation where a
location was selected to look at GE-8. The dish was installed and could
not see the bird. Used dishpointer and found the dish location was close
enough to the building that the building largely shielded the dish. Moved
the dish 10ft. and all was well using the building as a terrain shield
against radar from O'Hare.
The zooming feature makes siting a dish with some precision far more
reassuring. In a critical or tight location, that 5 minute effort could
either confirm a surveyors trip is necessary or save it.
