On a DA, this gets really messy since the coil is after the sampling system and might require a re-proof.  Especially with towers of a higher impedance and narrower Q.

I also believe the DC cables are of some significant size.  I'm not sure of the function or purpose of the equipment being supplied power, but it would seem to me that it must be a very special purpose or AC could have been send up and a power supply located local to the gear.  More info is needed....
