I read that earlier today. A sad day. The loss of a great actor. A serious actor (in Dragnet), a funny actor in various other movies with the likes of Don Knotts, and as the inimitable Colonel Potter in charge of the 4077th--he could do it all, and did it very well.

We have lost another great one.
