After speaking with a gentleman of some knowledge of the situation (off-list
if curious) I made contact with the seller.  What I asked him:

 

Dear datawat,

Several questions:

What exactly does the $4300 buy me? Elsewhere in your listing it states that
you want $50K with $10K down.

Do you have a lease agreement with the land owner where you plan to build,
and if so, what are the terms?

Have you obtained approval from all federal, state, county and local
government agencies for construction on the tower site?

Is there now or has there ever been opposition to the construction of the
towers?

I received the following reply:

 

Dear steve-678,

FAA, and tower # done, city of hilo property, ive met with mayor, im in hilo
this weekend, at $50 k its a steal, im retired, have had 20 stations,
$10,000 down and rest at transfer of FCC, 

i started this in 2004 just got approved
I just buy fast cars and travel now, no more radio, if it was on the air i'd
ask a million

 

 

I have a number of thoughts I'll hold until others have had a chance to read
