The Power Rock was bought after the worst weekend at WLS.  Both MW-50's failed and they were off the air for a day or two.   The Power Rock was isolated from the AC Power line and also from the antenna.
 
It was tested weekly.
 
As I recall WGN had a completely seperate site with a lower power transmitter also.
