About a month ago, I started using Firefox, and I haven't looked back. I used to be a faithful IE user, but I still use Windows XP, and the latest version of IE that is compatible is IE8. And IE8 is so broken and dysfunctional now that I can no longer stand to use it. I used to faithfully respond to the dialog box to "report this trouble to Microsoft", but after *years* of doing this, the problems just get worse and worse. I've concluded MS no longer bothers to fix older browser versions because they hope it will entice you to upgrade your OS as well.
Well, sorry, MiscreantSoft, there are other Internet browsers out there. As I don't have the money *or* the inclination to upgrade my OS, I'm sticking with XP, which still works well for me.
I now use IE only when required to do so by a particular website that I have to access.
