The problem is that these Linux boxes almost never fail. I built ten of 
them for a client back in 2007. Only one had a problem in four years, and 
that was because it was damaged in shipping when a network affiliate sent 
it back to the home office.

One of the machines ran four years without even a reboot.

There's precious little profit providing tech support for these things; 
you're like the goddam Maytag repairman.
