 Oh, don't misunderstand.....
 I'm not saying I wouldn't do it myself........
 Creative "cowboy" engineering, *within* the rules, whatever
 those rules might be.
 I don't write 'em, ( usually ) I just play by 'em.

 This kind of situation is a good example of why I'm generally opposed
 to declaratory rulings to "clarify" the intent of any rule.
 "Clarifying" a rule generally means a removal of options.
