[BC] unreliable old equipment query

How about when someone would aim the camera at some random stage light
and burn the camera up. (happened a lot actually)

Or the controller system for the switcher would blow a tube in some
random channel, and when you tried to take that channel it'd just
simply not work...

Tape chewing was also a fun one. (still happens in some older stations
using decks still)

Not to mention the glycol nightmare of plumbing leaks in the
transmission plant. (And back in those days it was required to have a
full time engineering staff *on-site* 24/7 (if you were a 24/7 station
anyways) to maintain parameters.)
