Actually they're still available, Willie.  See them at antique radio swapfests all the time.  And not too expensive.  You'll
find radios on ebay all the time that use them.  Usually they have an audio output transistor.  Some are SS in the audio
driver, and one Chrysler radio I have is tube only in the RF amp and converter.  IF and audio all SS.  I'll help you find
one for your junque collection if you'd like.
