If stations used processors as the designers intended, there would be 
no need for knobs and meters (LEDs are required to look sexy). 
Today's processors are designed to give the Owner, Manager, 
Salespeople, PDs and Owner's wives the sound they want. My month-long 
experience with HD radio tells me stations want HD to sound exactly 
like analog without multipath. Multipath has now been replaced by 
mode switching as an irritant.
