Opera is well matched to analog FM analog's hf power handling curve. As 
long as you are in a multipath-free zone, it is certainly possible for the 
FM analog to sound better than any codec short of 128 kbps AAC on this 
material, where the FM pre-emphasis curve is challenged only by the 
occasional cymbal crash (usually in Verdi ;-).

Today's pop music mixes, of course, are an entirely different story.
