Now Rich, that is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time.

And, it makes my point.

The problem with Oldies Stations (and I am a former radio jock myself)
or any such formatted station requires that it keeps itself fresh by using
(1) a broad playlist; heck man, most oldies stations I know do not know
that 'doo wop' or rock-a-billy even exist short of two or three songs and
(2) an intelligent host. Something that satellite or computer HD can only
rarely provide. Casey K's weekly program or Dick C. weekly program is an
exception.

>In our town here, we have a 'Music of your Life' station and I like
>listening to it because it is the sort of radio I like except for
>it's lack of news or chatter. It also sounds good on my old radios.
>Nevertheless, it is the same music all the time and is in need of a lot of
>revision in my opinion.

That's going to require a lot of resurrections.
