Yeah... but in the case of HD Radio.... more than a week's wage for the 
average working person.

They'll just buy a satellite radio for $29.99 after rebate and pay the $13 a 
month. And have portability to take it to work, in the car, while jogging or 
running...

Even at that rate it would take 34 months of subscription to equal the 
Boston Acoustics radio cost after rebate of $479,  ($13 subscription x 34 = 
442 + $30 for the radio)
But oops the HD radio isn't portable so you Can't use it in your car. Plus 
you have to commute the radio with you to the office or buy two.

And when you walk or jog... oh well your stuck on analog radio..
