Oh, yeah... then there's the argument over El Dorado...

    In Texas... the is 'short' or 'schwa' sounding... in Arkansas, I was
told it's properly pronounced with a 'long' a.  (Like - El Door-AY-dough)
('creek' ...is it - creeeeeeek or crik...?)
