"Jag-wire"?  No wonder you groan.  But, considering that Jaguar was originally a British brand (now owned by Ford, that's why the X-type is basically a Ford Mondeo and the S-type a Lincoln LS) so, "JAG-you-are" is Britishly correct, just as their pronunciation for Nicaragua, "Nick-uh-RAG-you-uh."
