Not to mention "LOU-uh-vl" Kentucky, "BALL-i-mur" Maryland, and "Noosamurna Beach."   Oh, and the Sevier Valley in Utah is pronounced exactly as "Severe."  And you can really tell the turistos around here when they garble "La Quinta" and "La Jolla."  When they can't pronounce "Desert Hot Springs," then they're just plain drunk.
