How about bringing your favorite 45 AND your hi-fi?? I took to 7th grade 
music class my new Heathkit A-9C based system (don't recall what speaker 
system, was the sweet 16 introduced  by 1956-57?) and "Purple People 
Eater". I played it loudly. I was so pleased. The teacher was so freaked.
