[BC] HD AM radio versus AM Stereo

I was there.
Broadcasters were stampeded by Leonard Kahn aided by some inept marketing on the
part of Magnavox. A lot of engineers of the day had their huge egos bolstered by
Leonard and they bought everything hook line and sinker. I installed and
independently tested that (and every other system) it played fine and was easier
than the other to make play properly.
Unfortunately it took the good engineering efforts of Continental to clear up
the misconceptions about the system and by then it was too late.
