[BC] Jews on Xmas Eve.

Donna,
I am at work this evening. It has been my tradition to work on
Christmas Eve, even if it means swapping a regular day off.
I know that for some, being home with family is very important, so I put
a little good will in the season.
We aired the Midnight Mass from NYC's St. Patrick's Cathedral tonight
(produced by our sister station WPIX). In his sermon, Edward Cardinal
Egan made a reference to government keeping its nose out of government.
I actually found myself transfixed by his words. The guy made sense!
Mayor Bloomberg, former Mayors Ed Koch and Rudy Guiliani were sitting
there.
I told my nephews when they asked what I wanted for Xmas (the
gentile side of the family)not to spend money on me, but learn
from my way...I try to be good to them 365 days a year, not just
on the 25th of December. On the other hand, I did not complain
when my Romanian co-worker brought me some fantastic stuffed
       cabbage!
Getting sleepy, hot cup of tea was not enough...too much sugar in
       all the pastries laying around.

Nighty-night.
