I always worked Xmas and Easter when I was in radio-- give my Christian
colleagues a day off to be with their families. Also,my husband and I have
volunteered with Project Ezra, a Jewish charitable organisation that works
at shelters on Christian holidays to give the Christian volunteers the day
off. It's a nice thing to do and it's too bad people don't do more of it
on other days-- one of the biggest complaints my friends who are social
workers have is that everybody wants to volunteer on Thanksgiving and
Christmas and Easter, but just about nobody shows up the rest of the year.
