LOL Burt! When I was using the Hallicrafters SX-71 as
the bedside radio (now a Hammarlund HQ-180A is) it
started sounding strange when first turned on. So I
looked through the set and saw 2 blue tubes. NOW, WAIT
A MINUTE I thought, there's NOT 2 gas regulator tubes.
The 5Y3 was trying to emulate the regulator tube in
blue-ness. It got retired immediately.
