You're automatically assuming propaganda is always bad. It probably
pays your salary under the name Advertising. Oxford defines it as "
an organized program of publicity, selected information, etc., used
to propagate a doctrine ..." It attaches no negative connotation to it.

Exactly my point. A radio station is a radio station, regardless of
its format. Its obligation to listeners is the same. Maybe my
News/Talk experience causes me to believe you have an obligation to
keep listeners informed beyond just left or right wing propaganda.
As the Director of the WOR Radio Network and Director of Station
Relations for ABC I always advised my affiliates to use our
programming not to get rid of people but to free up money to surround
it with relevant local services. The most successful stations make
themselves important to their listeners' lives in Earthly, practical
ways. Canned religion does nothing to help listeners negotiate their
way to work.

Now if only the religious fanatics who claim to speak for that
citizen of Galilee would stop condemning other religious beliefs we
might have something close to what He taught.
