I had a GM once that loved the "blue sky" idea.  Sure, one could always 
argue that "based upon the past billing history" it was a bit unfair for him 
to estimate his loss during downtime beyond a few dollars per spot (plus 
damage), but his answer was always that "you never know who might be 
listenening at any given time, therefore, you can't prove that the lost 
airtime didn't cost him a major business partner"... because he was ALWAYS 
on the lookout to sell the station to the right buyer -
