Wellll, Alan, If folks already own the CDs, why aren't they playing them in
the factory-installed CD player in the car, or their portable CD players?
Too lazy? Tired of their own collections?
In the 70's, Top 40 started to fragment. Rock was on the rise on FM, AC
came along, again largely on FM, and Top-40 itself began to re-emerge on FM.
Total audience figures went up when FM was included.
