[BC] IBOC in trouble?

If only....
Drop TV 5 & 6, then open that up at the bottom of the FM dial. Analog 
receivers wouldn't be too difficult to modify to tune down there (the dial would be 
off, tho) and the technology already exists. Doesn't Japan's FM dial start 
somewhere around 72 MHz? That means that inexpensive radios already exist. Make 
this FM-EB be the new IBOC band. It would also be nice to give disadvantaged 
Daytimers an opportunity to go 24/7.
