[BC] DRE: Make any sense to Beancounters?

Yeah... a signal that next-to-nobody will be listening to, at this rate! I 
can't help but see the 2000's version of the "AM Stereo Debacle" written all 
over this: Public ignorance & apathy. It's deja vu all over again. Again.

While DRE receivers (adaptors) may not, exactly, fly off the shelves, either, 
I see it filling a niche much the way the old analog SCA does now... only DRE 
will provide much better audio quality than its analog counterpart. It's 
funny, because this DRE system is exactly what I was "wishing for" a few years 
ago! I really do hope and pray for its success. 

DRE will be ideal for specialized "narrocasting" and will actually provide 
the stations using it with a revenue *stream* instead of a revenue *drain*!! 
Come on, beancounters... doesn't it make a whole lot *more* sense to pay $9,000 
*once* for the box, then start *collecting* every month from the users of those 
additional audio services? Bottom-line thinking, here!
