[BC] could someone explain this to me?

I fear that the recent events that gave rise to Homeland Security
issues have moved a lot of people's mindsets back into an
us-them mentality. In order to de-humanize the faction you fear,
you use labels and name-calling.
It stands to reason that many folks who start listening to something
like this don't like some of the extreme language, but they hang
around anyway to try to glean some useful content from the dreck.
As time goes by, and as the fear factor settles in, more and more
people become inured to this kind of thing, and then hate-mongers
use it as a tool to further their own agendas.
Or it could be sample-wobble.
